Sam's visit was good. He arrived on the 11:20, we grabbed our bags and clambered on, after Simon had plonked Alex on the train and told him to follow Sam who he hadn't seen in over a year. On Thursday evening I woke Alex accidentally while fishing all the detritus out of his bed, and he wouldn't go back to sleep as he was convinced he was going in the car again. On Friday morning Mum and Dad came over and we went to Poppleton Railway nursery, which was quite interesting. It was the nursery which provided all the plants and flowers for the LNER's hotels and stations, which has recently been re-opened as a charitable community nursery and oddly I knew more about then Dad.
